Anna & Jaret Maternity Photos

From photographing Anna & Jaret's wedding last September to now capturing their maternity journey, each moment holds a special significance. Despite the rain during our shoot, we embraced every moment and captured beautiful memories. As fate would have it, a stunning rainbow appeared, symbolizing hope and joy for their growing family. It's an honor to document their milestones and I eagerly anticipate our future collaborations!

Photoshoot location: St Joseph Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts.

I've visited this location several times for couple and maternity shoots, and I absolutely adore it! It offers a serene atmosphere with vast expanses of land for exploring fields and discovering ideal photo spots. This particular maternity session took place in the spring, during April. The grass was lush, and the backdrop featured pops of color from trees near the building.

I've also visited in the fall, and it's equally breathtaking! But that's a tale for another blog post.

Equipment used: Canon R6 + Canon RF 28-70mm F/2 + Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8.

For this shoot, I relied solely on my Canon R6 camera body, which continues to impress me with its performance. My go-to lens was the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2, offering versatility and clarity throughout. However, when the rainbow made its appearance, I swiftly switched to my Canon RF 70-100mm f/2.8 to capture a more compressed and intimate background.

Thank you.
