Carolina & Lucio’s Seaport & South Boston Engagement Session

Capturing engagement photos is always so special to me, but it becomes even more meaningful when it’s for a childhood friend! Carolina and Lucio’s engagement photoshoot was such a joy to be a part of. Despite wishing for sunny skies, the morning brought a little rain - but that did not dampen their spirits!

IN FACT, it gave us a chance to incorporate romantic under-the-umbrella shots.

These could easily be some of my Favorites!

We started the day at Fan Pier Park in Seaport, Boston. The city skyline and waterfront views provided the perfect backdrop for their love story telling. (PS. If you’re planning an engagement shoot, this is a must-visit location!)

After our outdoor adventure, we headed over to Petula's, a charming restaurant in South Boston. A big Thank You to the team for letting us use their beautiful space! We captured some chic shots at the bar and transitioned to a cozy table for more intimate photos.

This photoshoot was a dream from start to finish. I’m so proud of Carolina and Lucio for embracing the weather and staying true to their vision as much as possible. I can’t wait to see these photos featured on their save-the-dates and to be a part of their dreamy wedding in Cancun, Mexico!

For this session, I relied on my Canon R6 camera body and the incredible Canon Rf 28-70 f/2 lens. This combination is my go-to for versatility and outstanding clarity, and it delivered beautifully in both outdoor and indoor settings.
