Rafaella & Nathan: A Courthouse Wedding Followed by Magic at Larz Anderson Park
Some love stories are full of surprises, and Rafaella and Nathan’s journey is one that I’ll always cherish. What started as a plan for an engagement photoshoot turned into a celebration of their marriage - and I was lucky enough to capture it all!
Rafaella, a dear friend of mine, got engaged to Nathan on January 1, 2024. Their engagement was private and deeply meaningful, and a few days later, she shred the news with our friend group. Fast forward a few months, and Rafaella reached out to me to save a spot in my busy fall photoshoot schedule for their engagement photos. Of course, I was thrilled to document this special moment in their lives.
A Surprising Twist
As we started discussing ideas for their session, Rafaella hit me with the best news ever: they weren’t waiting to get married. Instead, they would head to the courthouse to officially tie the knot and wanted me to document the moment so they could share the exciting news with their families in the coming weeks.
I couldn’t contain my excitement - it was such an honor to be part of this milestone in their lives!
From the Courthouse to Larz Anderson Park
After their intimate courthouse wedding, they headed to Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA for their photos. The park was the perfect setting to celebrate their love - beautiful, serene, and full of character.
We started shooting during golden hour, with the light casting a dreamy glow over the landscape. Rafaella was stunning in her white dress, and Nathan couldn’t stop smiling as they walked hand in hand around the park. Their joy was infectious, and every photo radiated the love and connection they share.
